MERCY Communities is pleased to announce the election

of Bob Hall as President of its Board of Directors, effective following the

organization’s Annual Board Meeting in June 2025.

MERCY Communities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing

housing, support, and comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk

families. Through education, counseling, and life skills training, MERCY

empowers parents to break the cycle of homelessness and build a stable

future for their families.

Hall brings over two decades of dedicated service to the MERCY board,

having held numerous leadership roles throughout his tenure. His

professional background includes work as a special education teacher, public

defender, attorney, and associate judge.

"Bob is an incredibly engaged and hands-on board member," said Amy Voils,

Executive Director of MERCY Communities. "Each year, he personally

coordinates seasonal activities and donations such as Halloween treat bags,

Easter baskets for the children, potted flowers for moms on Mother’s Day, and

community carnivals and fundraisers that bring joy to the families we serve."

Joining Hall on the Executive Committee are:

  • Manjula Mehta and Vickie Evans, Vice Presidents

  • Danielle Hunt, Treasurer

  • Sister Marilyn Jean Runkel, OP, Secretary

  • Blake Pryor, Immediate Past President

MERCY Communities looks forward to continued growth and impact under

Bob Hall’s leadership.
