Programs and Services

Mercy helpOngoing Programs and Services

MERCY Communities housing program has grown from providing 10 units of housing in 1999 to 26 units today. We offer services for homeless or at-risk women over the age of eighteen with one or more children. Our services are designed for mothers who are committed to learning the life skills, job skills and parenting skills necessary to live a self-sufficient life.

To participate, families must be ready to take steps toward life transformations through structured, value-based, goal-directed activities.

The goal of all programming is to assist homeless young women and their children to achieve stability in their lives by providing them with a stable home and intensive supportive services.

More Than a Place to Stay

donationsOur professional staff meet one on one at least weekly with the clients and their children.

In addition, one evening per week, MERCY hosts various speakers, activities, demonstrations, videos, educators and community volunteers to provide small life skill sessions centered on the pillars of self-sufficiency: housing, parenting, budgeting and life skills. Volunteer to share your skills today

Children also are provided with counseling, as needed, with emphasis on educational achievements. We are thankful for your support!
