Our professional staff meet 1:1 several times weekly with the clients and their children. In addition, two evenings per week, M.E.R.C.Y. hosts various speakers, activities, demonstrations, videos, educators and community volunteers to provide small learning sessions centered on the pillars of self-sufficiency: Housing, Parenting, Budgeting and Life Skills. Children also are provided with counseling, as needed, with emphasis on educational achievements.
Funding for our Children's programs has been graciously provided by the Junior League of Springfield, Medical Society Alliance, the SIU School of Medicine, Springfield Rotary, the Susan Cook Foundation and many private donors. We are thankful for your support!
